Abstract
Un sistema de asesoramiento de buques marítimos puede configurarse para calcular y proporcionar información operativa que muestre ahorros en el consumo de combustible con base en el ajuste de la velocidad y/o el rumbo del buque. En una modalidad, el sistema de asesoramiento puede funcionar en tiempo real para recopilar información sobre las condiciones operativas y/o ambientales que se utilizará para calcular el rendimiento operativo alternativo del buque marítimo que ahorrará combustible y reducirá las emisiones. Los cálculos pueden incluir una simulación, aprendizaje automático y/o inteligencia artificial para determinar una velocidad y/o rumbo del buque marítimo que reducirá el consumo de combustible. El sistema de asesoramiento puede mostrar la información calculada para el operador, y el operador puede optar por cambiar a los parámetros de operación alternativos (por ejemplo, velocidad más lenta). En una modalidad, el sistema de asesoramiento puede interactuar directamente con un sistema de buque marítimo y hacer que automáticamente el sistema de buque marítimo ajuste los parámetros de operación en función de los parámetros de funcionamiento calculados que ahorran combustible y reducen las emisiones.
