Abstract

Se divulga un sistema de inspección (100) que tiene un fondo (102) situado adyacente a una zona de inspección (104); y un dispositivo de captura de imágenes (106) configurado para recibir radiación electromagnética de fondo (EMR) del fondo y de la zona de inspección, la zona de inspección configurada y dispuesta para recibir material para su transporte a la zona de inspección; donde el fondo tiene una propiedad de fondo definida por una emisión de fondo, una absorbencia de fondo, y una reflectancia de fondo, la propiedad de fondo que se comprara con EMR a una EMR de material para ser transportada a la zona de inspección, el material que tiene una propiedad de material definida por una emisión de material, una absorbencia de material, y una reflectancia de material; y donde el dispositivo de captura de imágenes está configurado para detectar un objeto extraño dentro del material cuando es transportado a la zona de inspección deduciendo la EMR del fondo de la EMR de material.
