Abstract
Se describen técnicas para la predicción basada en matrices de un bloque de una imagen de manera eficiente. Una modalidad se refiere a un aparato para decodificar un bloque predeterminado (18) de una imagen usando intra-predicción, configurado para seleccionar (602), con base en el flujo de datos, un modo predeterminado de intra-predicción (604) de una pluralidad (600) de modos de intra-predicción que comprende un primer conjunto (508) de modos de intra-predicción que comprenden un modo de intra-predicción DC (506) y modos de predicción angular (500), y un segundo conjunto (520) de modos de intra-predicción basados en matrices (510) de acuerdo con cada uno de los cuales un producto de matriz-vector (512) entre un vector (514) derivado de muestras de referencia (17) en una vecindad del bloque predeterminado y una matriz de predicción (516) asociada con el respectivo modo de intra-predicción basado en matrices se usa para obtener un vector de predicción (518), sobre la base de lo cual se predicen muestras del bloque predeterminado. Además, el aparato está configurado para derivar (614), a partir del flujo de datos, una versión transformada (616) de un residuo de predicción para el bloque predeterminado (18), que está relacionado con una versión de dominio espacial (618) del residuo de predicción del bloque predeterminado a través de una transformada (T) definida por una concatenación de una transformada primaria (Tp) y una transformada secundaria predeterminada (Ts) del subconjunto (610) de transformadas secundarias aplicadas sobre un subconjunto (622) de coeficientes (620) de la transformación primaria, en el caso de que el modo de intra-predicción predeterminado esté contenido en el primer conjunto (508) de modos de intra-predicción y en el caso de que el modo de intra-predicción predeterminado esté contenido en el segundo conjunto (520) de modos de intra-predicción basados en matrices (510 ). El aparato está configurado para reconstruir (624) el bloque predeterminado usando la señal de predicción y el residuo de predicción para el bloque predeterminado (18).
