Abstract
Un sistema ultrasónico incluye un dispositivo ultrasónico que tiene un transductor ultrasónico, y un alambre núcleo con un extremo proximal acoplado al transductor ultrasónico y una porción de extremo distal que termina en una punta distal; una fuente de energía ultrasónica está eléctricamente conectada al transductor ultrasónico; la fuente de energía ultrasónica incluye un circuito generador de señal ultrasónica, un circuito de modulador, y un controlador; el circuito de generador de señal ultrasónica genera una señal eléctrica ultrasónica; el circuito de modulador modula por amplitud la señal eléctrica ultrasónica con una señal eléctrica de macro-movimiento para generar una señal eléctrica ultrasónica modulada; el controlador ejecuta instrucciones de programa para seleccionar entre un modo de acoplamiento y un modo transversal, en donde en el modo de acoplamiento la primera señal eléctrica ultrasónica es alimentada desde la fuente de energía ultrasónica al transductor ultrasónico y en el modo transversal la señal eléctrica ultrasónica modulada es alimentada desde la fuente de energía ultrasónica al transductor ultrasónico.
