Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo de protección facial para el apoyo y soporte en cirugías con el cual se genera una cortina de aire presurizado en las proximidades del rostro de una persona que lo porta en áreas donde se encuentran partículas en aerosoles dispersos en el ambiente tales como ambientes quirúrgicos. Este dispositivo cuenta con una estructura de soporte ajustable a la dimensión de la cabeza del usuario, diversos dispositivos modulares periféricos, además de un equipo de videograbación para el registro de imágenes durante las actividades realizadas y se complementa con un maletín protector para el resguardo del equipo. Se tienen unos pasajes de fluido presurizado para dirigir un caudal de aire presurizado desde una fuente de aire a presión hacia unos dispositivos modulares periféricos. Se tienen unas gafas protectoras que se acoplan con el aro de soporte que tienen unos conductos de gafas para dirigir un caudal de aire presurizado hacia unas rejillas de gafas. Una pantalla bucal se acopla con el aro de soporte que tiene unos conductos de pantalla para dirigir un caudal de aire presurizado hacia unas rejillas de pantalla; dichas rejillas de gafas y de pantalla están orientadas en un ángulo que permite direccionar el aire a presión de manera tangencial a la piel del usuario para formar de una cortina de aire en las proximidades de la cara de un usuario. Además, se tiene un equipo de intercomunicación para la comunicación entre diversos usuarios.
