Abstract

Se describe un producto fibroso para el aislamiento conteniendo una pluralidad de fibras orientadas aleatoriamente y una composición aglutinante acuosa termoestable recubriendo por lo menos parcialmente a dichas fibras. La composición aglutinante contiene por lo menos un poliol de cadena larga teniendo por lo menos dos grupos hidroxilo y un peso molecular promedio en número que es de por lo menos 2,000 Daltons, un agente de reticulación que contiene por lo menos dos grupos ácido carboxílico, y un poliol de cadena corta teniendo por lo menos por lo menos dos grupos hidroxilo y un peso molecular promedio en número que es menor de 2,000 Daltons, en donde una relación del poliol de cadena larga con respecto al poliol de cadena corta es de 0.1/0.9 a 0.9/0.1.
