Abstract

Se describen compuestos de la Fórmula (I): (ver Fórmula) o un estereoisómero, un tautómero o una sal o solvato farmacéuticamente aceptable de los mismos, en donde Q es un heterociclilo de 5 miembros o un heteroarilo de 5 miembros que tiene de 1 a 4 heteroátomos seleccionados independientemente de N, O y S, sustituido con cero a 4 R1; y A, X1, X2, X3, X4, Z1, Z2, R1, R2, R3a, R3b, a, b y d se definen en el presente documento. También se describen métodos para usar estos compuestos para modular la actividad del receptor de farnesoide X (FXR); composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden estos compuestos; y métodos para tratar una enfermedad, trastorno o afección asociada con la desregulación de FXR, tal como fibrosis patológica, rechazo de trasplantes, cáncer, osteoporosis y trastornos inflamatorios, mediante el uso de los compuestos y composiciones farmacéuticas.
