Abstract

Se provee un sistema y método para la comunicación inalámbrica de PtMP; el sistema de comunicación inalámbrica de PtMP puede incluir una pluralidad de sectores cada uno incluyendo una estación(es) base y una estación(es) remota(s); se puede determinar un ancho de banda total del sistema con base en un intervalo de frecuencia de una banda continua asignada al sistema, o uno o más canales de PLMR cuando el sistema se comunica sobre una banda de Radio Móvil Terrestre Privado (PLMR) que tiene uno o más canales; el ancho de banda total puede ser proporcionado en subcanal(es), cada uno con un ancho de banda de subcanal fijo; cada sector puede ser asignado con un subconjunto de la pluralidad de subcanales; se puede crear y poblar un mapa de bits de subcanal para la pluralidad de subcanales, especificando si la disponibilidad de cada subcanal para el sector particular, y las estaciones base de cada sector pueden comunicarse sobre los subcanales asignados al por lo menos un sector de acuerdo con el respectivo mapa de bits de subcanal poblado.
