Abstract
Se proporciona tecnología para mejorar la eficiencia de la codificación mediante la realización de una división de bloques adecuada para la codificación y decodificación de imágenes. Un dispositivo de decodificación de imágenes incluye una unidad de derivación de candidato espacial configurada para derivar un candidato espacial a partir de información de inter predicción de un bloque adyacente a un bloque objetivo de decodificación y registrar el candidato espacial derivado como un candidato en una primera lista de candidatos, una unidad de derivación de candidato basado en el historial configurada para generar una segunda lista de candidatos agregando un candidato basado en el historial incluido en una lista de candidatos basados en el historial como un candidato a la primera lista de candidatos, una unidad de selección de candidato configurada para seleccionar un candidato de selección entre los candidatos incluidos en la segunda lista de candidatos; y una unidad de inter predicción configurada para realizar inter predicción utilizando el candidato de selección. La unidad de derivación de candidato basado en el historial cambia entre si se agrega o no un candidato basado en el historial que se superpone con un candidato incluido en la primera lista de candidatos de acuerdo con un modo de predicción.
