Abstract

El uso de un componente que aumenta la viscosidad en una composición de combustible diésel, con el propósito de mejorar la economía de combustible de un motor en el cual se introduce o se pretende introducir la composición de combustible, o de un vehículo propulsado por este motor, en donde el componente que aumenta la viscosidad es un aditivo que mejora el índice de viscosidad (IV), en donde el aditivo que mejora el IV comprende un copolímero de bloques lineal, que contiene uno o más bloques de monómeros seleccionados de monómeros de etileno, propileno, butileno, butadieno, isopreno y estireno y en donde el aditivo que mejora el IV se usa a una concentración de 0.001 % p/p a 0.05 % p/p.
