Abstract
Un anillo de ajuste por contracción, cuyos dos bordes circunferenciales (10) están rebordeados, hacen posible usar grosores de banda más delgado sin el riesgo de pandeo debido a su mayor resistencia intrínseca. El rebordeado resulta en una extensión del diámetro de los bordes de anillo, en donde las regiones de borde de anillo (14) se doblan hacia afuera en una forma redondeada y las superficies de borde (11) se extienden en un ángulo de manera preferible de aproximadamente 0° a aproximadamente 20° con respecto al eje de anillo (12).
