Abstract
Provided are: a press formed component in which a wrinkle is not easily caused in a longitudinal wall section of a curved part in a component shape having an L-shape or a T-shape when viewed in a plan view; and a method for manufacturing the same. This press formed component (20) has a top plate part (1), a longitudinal wall part (2) continuous to the top plate part (1) and a flange part (3), and further has a curved part (4) which, when viewed in a plan view, is displaced toward the longitudinal wall part (2) and curved in a concave shape as at least a portion of a boundary section between the top plate part (1) and the longitudinal wall part (2) is displaced toward the longitudinal direction. In the cross-sectional shape of the curved part (4), the inclined angle θ [degree] of the longitudinal wall part with respect to the top plate part (1) satisfies the following expression (1). (1- sinθ)/cosθ > 0.95 â¦(1).
