Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a métodos y aparatos para codificar datos de video en una corriente de bits y para decodificar datos de video recibidos en una corriente de bits; un segundo indicador de control indicando si se utiliza o no predicción multi-hipótesis para intra e inter modo es generado y transmitido solo condicionalmente, al momento de una determinación respecto a si se utiliza o no una técnica de lista de fusión separada para candidatos de fusión de subbloque; por otra parte, un decodificador tiene la capacidad para decidir sobre el uso de predicción multihipótesis para intra e inter modo y la técnica de lista de fusión separada para candidatos de fusión de subbloque aunque el segundo indicador de control es transmitido solo condicionalmente.
