Abstract
Se describe un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye recibir una corriente de bits que comprende una pluralidad de secuencias codificadas de tramas de codificación de nube de puntos (PCC), en donde la pluralidad de secuencias codificadas de tramas de PCC representan una pluralidad de atributos de PCC que incluyen geometría, textura y uno o más de reflectancia, transparencia y normal. Cada trama de PCC codificada es representada por una o más unidades de capa de abstracción de red (NAL) de PCC. El mecanismo también incluye analizar la corriente de bits para obtener una indicación para cada una de las unidades de NAL de PCC que indique si cada una de las unidades de NAL de PCC pertenece al correspondiente de los atributos de PCC, y a cuál de los atributos de PCC pertenece la unidad de NAL de PCC cuando la unidad de NAL de PCC pertenece al atributo de PCC correspondiente.
