Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de impresión tridimensional para preparar un objeto tridimensional hecho al menos parcialmente de un polímero expansible que comprende: i) un dispositivo de impresión (10) para preparar una masa fundida de polímero expansible y para depositar un hilo del polímero expansible, en expansión o expandido sobre una superficie y ii) un dispositivo de movimiento tridimensional para ajustar la posición del dispositivo de impresión en una matriz tridimensional predefinida para permitir la deposición del hilo de polímero expansible, en expansión o expandido en un tiempo predeterminado, en una posición precisa, dentro de la matriz tridimensional, en donde el dispositivo de impresión comprende: a) una sección de alimentación (16) en el extremo aguas arriba del dispositivo de impresión, b) una sección de calentamiento (20), c) una sección de presurización (22), d) una línea de suministro de agente espumante (26), e) una sección de mezcla (24), f) una sección de enfriamiento (28) y g) una sección terminal de cabezal de impresión (30) en el extremo aguas abajo del dispositivo de impresión que incluye un troquel para depositar el hilo de polímero expansible, en expansión o expandido sobre la superficie, en donde la sección de mezcla e) y la sección de enfriamiento f) están dispuestas aguas abajo de la sección de alimentación a), la sección de calentamiento b) y la sección de presurización c), y en donde la línea de suministro de agente espumante d) tiene uno o más extremos de descarga, que está o están conectados a una sección o más de la sección de presurización c), la sección de mezcla e) y la sección de enfriamiento f).
