Abstract
Se proporciona aparatos y métodos para codificación y decodificación. El método incluye determinar si por lo menos uno de dos bloques se predice por la aplicación de una inter-intra predicción combinada (combined inter-intra prediction, CIIP), en donde los dos bloques incluyen un primer bloque (bloque Q) y un segundo bloque (bloque P), y en donde los dos bloques se asocian con un límite. El método además incluye configurar una intensidad de límite (boundary strength, Bs) del límite a un primer valor cuando por lo menos uno de los dos bloques se predice por la aplicación de la CIIP; o configurar una intensidad de límite (boundary strength, Bs) del límite a un segundo valor cuando ninguno de los dos bloques se predice por la aplicación de la CIIP.
