Abstract

Aparato y un método para el tratamiento de agua que incluye un recipiente (6) que tiene una entrada de agua (31) y una salida de agua (28a, 28b) y un mecanismo de alimentación de agua al recipiente a través de la entrada de agua. El recipiente contiene una masa de agua y un material sólido particulado o granular que comprende uno o más metales elementales u óxidos de los mismos capaces de elevar el pH del agua.
