Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere a un aparato de procesamiento de imagen y un método de procesamiento de imagen que permite suprimir un aumento en el tiempo de procesamiento de un proceso de filtrado para datos en la nube de puntos. Se realiza un proceso de filtrado sobre datos de la nube de puntos usando un valor representativo de los datos de la nube de puntos para cada región local obtenida dividiendo un espacio tri-dimensional. Una imagen de plano de dos dimensiones en la cual los datos de la nube de puntos sometidos al proceso de filtrado son proyectados son codificados, y se genera un flujo de bits.
