Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para mejorar la degradación de la paja de trigo en un rumiante, que comprende los siguientes pasos: a) proporcionar la paja de trigo, b) pretratar químicamente dicha paja proporcionada, c) alimentar al rumiante con la paja de trigo pretratada químicamente, en donde dicho proceso se caracteriza porque también comprende una etapa d) de administrar directamente un aditivo ruminal enzimático al rumiante, es decir, dicho aditivo ruminal enzimático no se utiliza como pretratamiento sobre la paja de trigo; la presente invención también se refiere al uso directo de un aditivo ruminal enzimático en un rumiante antes, durante o después de alimentar a dicho rumiante con paja de trigo después de haber sido sometido a un pretratamiento químico, es decir, dicho aditivo enzimático no se utiliza como pretratamiento sobre la paja de trigo.
