Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un método y una composición para prevenir o tratar el acné mediante la inhibición selectiva de bacteria P. acnes. El método comprende tratar la piel con un aislado de otras bacterias Staphylococcus capitis ureolyticus (SCU) presentes como un contribuyente menor de la flora normal de la piel. La eficacia se intensifica adicionalmente cuando se incorporan en el mismo endolisinas derivadas de fagos de P. acnes y moléculas de ácido nucleico que codifica para las mismas.
