Abstract

Se proporciona un sistema de protección contra incendios para un espacio que tiene un techo de dos aguas construido de miembros estructurales que se extienden desde una cresta hasta un alero, con respectivos canales entre los mismos; una primera fila de rociadores están montados en un primer ramal que se extiende en forma generalmente paralela a la cresta; cada rociador está posicionado dentro de un canal respectivo, con rociadores consecutivos separados teniendo no menos de uno, y no más de cinco, canales entre los mismos; una segunda fila de rociadores, pendiente abajo de la primera fila, están montados en un segundo ramal que se extiende de manera generalmente paralela al primer ramal; cada rociador de la misma está posicionado dentro de un canal respectivo, con rociadores consecutivos de la segunda fila separados como en la primera fila; cada rociador de la segunda fila también está ubicado dentro de un canal diferente de cada rociador de la primera fila; un número más lejano de canales entre un rociador de la primera fila y un rociador de la segunda fila es de tres.
