Abstract
La invención tiene relación con una prensa filtro (1, 100, 200) para separar los componentes sólidos desde los componentes líquidos de una lechada, que comprende vigas laterales (4) y una pluralidad de placas de filtro (6, 106, 206) orientadas en ángulo recto a la dirección longitudinal de las vigas laterales, en donde dichas placas de filtro se encuentran adaptadas para desplazarse a lo largo de dichas vigas laterales, un extremo estacionario (5, 105, 205) dispuesto en un extremo de las vigas laterales, un cabezal móvil (8, 108, 208) adaptado para transportar dichas placas de filtro a lo largo de las vigas laterales, un sistema de prensa (26, 126, 226) adaptado para ejercer una presión de cierre sobre dichas placas de filtro, de modo de presionar las placas de filtro una contra la otra y en donde el sistema de prensa (26, 126, 226) comprende a lo menos un actuador (27, 127, 227) a lo menos un actuador accionado eléctricamente (27, 127, 227) adaptado para generar una fuerza axialmente dirigida que es ejercida sobre las placas de filtro por medio del cabezal móvil (8, 108, 208); la invención también tiene relación con un método para separar los componentes sólidos desde los componentes líquidos de una lechada.
