Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un método rápido para estimar el contenido de materia seca de una fruta o verdura; el método comprende secar una muestra de la fruta o la verdura sobre un soporte y medir el contenido de materia seca, en donde el método completo se puede llevar a cabo en menos de 2 horas; esto se compara con el método estándar de la industria para evaluar la materia seca en productos hortícolas, el cual normalmente se lleva de 6 a 48 horas.
