Abstract

Un sistema para protección contra golpes de presión de un tubo ascendente adaptado para transportar gas desde un pozo de producción de hidrocarburos o para protección contra golpes de presión en un pozo, el sistema comprende: una tubería flexible, en donde una porción de la tubería flexible se extiende al interior del tubo ascendente o al interior del pozo y en donde la tubería termina dentro del tubo ascendente o dentro del pozo; un sistema de control de presión acomodado para crear una presión diferencial dentro de la tubería flexible tal que se arrastre líquido del tubo ascendente o el pozo al interior de la tubería flexible si hay líquido presente en el tubo ascendente o el pozo; en donde la longitud de dicha porción de la tubería flexible es variable dependiendo de la cantidad de líquido arrastrado al interior de la tubería flexible.
