Abstract

Un sistema de protección de intemperie para un conector de cable coaxial que comprende: (i) una tapa de sobremoldeo dispuesta sobre un extremo preparado de un cable coaxial, (ii) una funda ajustable de Protección de Intemperie (WP, por sus siglas en inglés) que circunscribe la tapa de sobremoldeo, y una interfaz de acoplamiento dispuesta entre una superficie exterior de la tapa de sobremoldeo y una superficie interior de la funda ajustable con la WP; la interfaz de acoplamiento está configurada para proporcionar retroalimentación táctil a un ensamblador/técnico cuando ensambla la funda WP en combinación con la tapa de sobremoldeo.
