Abstract

En el presente documento se refiere a sistemas codificadores de fuente de audio. En particular, en el presente documento se refiere a sistemas codificadores de fuente de audio que hacen uso de predicción lineal en combinación con un banco de filtros. Se describe un método para estimar una primera muestra (615) de una primera señal de sub-banda en una primera sub-banda de una señal de audio. La primera señal de sub-banda de la señal de audio se determina utilizando un banco de filtros de análisis (612) que comprende una pluralidad de filtros de análisis que proporcionan una pluralidad de señales de sub-banda en una pluralidad de sub-bandas de la señal de audio, respectivamente. El método comprende determinar un parámetro de modelo (613) de un modelo de señal; determinar un coeficiente de predicción que se va aplicar a una muestra anterior (614) de una primera señal de sub-banda decodificada de la primera señal de sub-banda, con b ase en el modelo de señal, con base en el parámetro de modelo (613) y con base en el banco de filtros de análisis (612); en donde un intervalo de tiempo de la muestra anterior (614) está antes que un intervalo de tiempo de la primera muestra (615); y determinar una estimación de la primera muestra (615) al aplicar el coeficiente de predicción a la muestra anterior (614).
