Abstract

Se describen métodos para crear formas del contenido líquido congelado almacenado en cápsulas monodosis usadas en máquinas dispensadoras de productos tales como café. Las formas pueden incluir la congelación de un líquido que se mantiene estáticamente en la cápsula en diversas orientaciones. Los métodos pueden incluir estrategias de congelación/descongelación/c ongelación, congelación del líquido mientras la cápsula gira o da vueltas, uso de preformas de moldes, preformas hechas con sondas y/o uso de preformas que se han formado mediante extrusión o prensado. En algunas modalidades, se produce una forma que no interfiere con la entrada de las agujas de entrada o salida proyectadas hacia la cápsula por parte del dispensador y formas que no interfieren con el flujo de un líquido que se derrite/diluye durante su tránsito desde la aguja de entrada a la de salida.
