Abstract

Se provee un pistón para un motor de combustión interna, el pistón es configurado de tal manera que se pueda reducir la cantidad de deformación de la cabeza del pistón. Este pistón para un motor de combustión interna es provisto con: una cabeza de pistón; un par de protuberancias de perno de pistón; un par de faldones y cuatro plataformas para conectar el par de protuberancias de perno de pistón y el par de faldones. Cada una de las cuatro plataformas es provista con: un doblez; una sección lateral de protuberancia ubicada más cerca del par de protuberancias de perno de pistón que el doblez y una sección lateral de faldón ubicada más cercana al lado opuesto al par de protuberancias de perno de pistón que el doblez. La distancia entre la sección del lado de protuberancia y un eje perpendicular tanto al eje del cilindro del motor de combustión interna como al eje del agujero para perno del pistón aumenta con una distancia creciente del eje del agujero para perno del pistón.
