Abstract
La presente divulgación proporciona un método para prevenir la colmatación de las membranas en un sistema de tratamiento de fluidos que tiene al menos una membrana. El método describe la aplicación de cavitación hidrodinámica a un flujo de fluido antes de inyectarlo al sistema de tratamiento de fluidos y a través de la al menos una membrana, en el que, después de ser sometidos a cavitación hidrodinámica en el reactor de cavitación, los componentes sólidos en el fluido cambian (i) su estructura molecular, (ii) una carga, o ambas, de manera que los componentes se repelan entre sí y se dispersen alrededor de un borde de la membrana para prevenir la colmatación. Se proporciona también un sistema para prevenir la colmatación de las membranas en un sistema de tratamiento de fluidos que tiene al menos una membrana.
