Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a la coordinación de campamento multi-RAT simultáneo en una red de comunicación inalámbrica que proporciona acceso de radio para un dispositivo terminal a través de al menos un primero y segundo accesos de radio inalámbrico que funcionan con diferentes tecnologías de acceso de radio. El campamento multi-RAT mejorado se logra transmitiendo, por un nodo de red, una indicación con respecto a un conjunto de áreas de campamento, CAs, incluyendo un primer conjunto de áreas de campamento que está asociado con la primera RAT y un segundo conjunto de áreas de campamento que está asociado con la segunda RAT; llevar a cabo, por el dispositivo terminal, campamento en un área de cobertura definida en función del conjunto de CAs; y actualizar, por el dispositivo terminal, la red de comunicación con una ubicación geográfica del dispositivo terminal a) cuando el dispositivo terminal ingrese en un área de cobertura nueva que sea diferente del área de cobertura definida por el primero y segundo conjuntos de CAs como primer mecanismo, o b) cuando el dispositivo terminal ingrese en un área de cobertura nueva que sea diferente del área de cobertura definida por uno del primero y segundo conjuntos de CAs como segundo mecanismo.
