Abstract
Se describen sistemas, métodos e instrumentos para la adaptación del modo múltiple entrada múltiple salida (MIMO) en los sistemas de red de área local inalámbrica (WLAN) mmW. Una primera estación (STA) puede recibir una solicitud de cambio de modo de una segunda STA. La solicitud de cambio de modo puede indicar un cambio de modo para un modo MIMO, un modo de polarización, y/o un modo de acceso múltiple por división de frecuencias ortogonales (OFDMA). La solicitud de cambio de modo puede incluir uno o más campos de la STA. Los uno o más campos de la STA pueden incluir un capo de la STA asociado con la primera STA. Cada uno de los uno o más campos de la STA pueden incluir un subcampo del modo MIMO, un subcampo del modo de polarización, y/o un subcampo del modo OFDMA. La primera STA puede cambiar el modo MIMO, el modo de polarización, y/o el modo OFDMA, por ejemplo, en función de la solicitud de cambio de modo. La primera STA puede enviar una respuesta de cambio de modo a la segunda STA.
