Abstract

Se proporciona un método de un solo paso para limpiar un conjunto de engranajes circunferenciales de un molino en la preparación para su inspección, el método comprende: vaciar sustancialmente el molino; hacer avanzar lentamente el engranaje; rociar a alta presión sobre el engranaje una formulación de limpieza de compuestos orgánicos no volátiles (no VOC), la formulación de limpieza comprende un solvente de hidrocarburo alifático no VOC, un lubricante de presión extrema, un lubricante de desgaste por fricción, un surfactante no iónico y una mezcla de alcoholes grasos insaturados no VOC; y continuar rociando la formulación de limpieza no VOC sobre el engranaje durante el tiempo suficiente para que la formulación limpie el engranaje y se proporcione así un engranaje limpio.
