Abstract

Un dispositivo de enfriamiento evaporante de dos etapas tiene una cámara central, dividida en una cámara superior y una cámara inferior por un divisor, una o más unidades de intercambio térmico que rodean la cámara central; un ventilador superior colocado por encima de la cámara superior y un ventilador inferior colocado por debajo de la cámara inferior; y un circuito de agua; en donde cada unidad de intercambio térmico comprende un elemento de enfriamiento evaporante y un preenfriador de aire a agua, el preenfriador es colocado adelante de una porción inferior del elemento de enfriamiento y el circuito de agua es colocado para irrigar el elemento de enfriamiento y para recolectar el agua irrigada por debajo del elemento de enfriamiento para suministrarse al preenfriador, por medio de lo cual el aire preenfriado podría ser extraído hacia adentro a través del preenfriador y la parte inferior del elemento de enfriamiento por medio del ventilador inferior y el aire ambiental podría ser extraído hacia adentro a través de la parte superior del elemento de enfriamiento por medio del ventilador superior.
