Abstract
Se proporciona un método para detectar partículas respirables en un material a granel que comprende partículas. El método comprende: analizar la morfología de las partículas; analizar la composición química de las partículas; crear un perfil de las partículas, en donde cada partícula en el perfil se caracteriza por su forma, tamaño y composición química; seleccionar partículas del perfil que coincidan con el tamaño y la composición química de una partícula respirable; y calcular un porcentaje de las partículas respirables en el material a granel.
