Abstract

Un sistema de escaneo de rayos X basado en energía dual tiene un tiene un arreglo de detectores lineal con detectores de alta y baja energía; se emplea un método de procesamiento de señal que considera diversos ángulos a los cuales inciden los rayos X transmitidos sobre los detectores y también el orden variable en el cual los rayos X transmitidos pasan a través de los detectores de alta y baja energía; esto produce una alta resolución en las imágenes generadas y un mejor desempeño de penetración.
