Abstract

Un sistema de manómetro para un tanque con una velocidad de flujo variable que proporciona al usuario una indicación de cuánto tiempo utilizable queda en un tanque de gas presurizado dada una velocidad seleccionada particular de flujo o una condición operativa y qué presión de gas queda en el tanque. El sistema comprende un cilindro de gas que contiene un gas; un conector de salida de gas; un regulador en comunicación fluida con el cilindro de gas y el conector de salida de gas, el regulador controla la velocidad en la cual el gas fluye del cilindro de gas al conector de salida de gas; una perilla selectora que selecciona una velocidad de flujo de una pluralidad de velocidades de flujo; un émbolo de resorte conectado con la perilla selectora y que tiene una posición que corresponde con la velocidad seleccionada de flujo; un potenciómetro que detecta la ubicación del émbolo de resorte; y un procesador configurado para recibir del potenciómetro una señal que indica la ubicación del émbolo de resorte, para detectar la velocidad seleccionada de flujo y para provocar que la velocidad de flujo detectada sea visualizada en una pantalla.
