Abstract

The adjustable non-rigid step store gate device, as described in the specifications, can be used in many applications by the general public, at level areas or on inclines, limiting passage to certain areas; and is not limited to home or office. The gate may also be used outdoors whereby obstacles often block rigid gates from opening. The original designed pivot post has been modified in appearance. The pivot post may alternatively be composed of, square or rectangular metal structure material: Cut out openings, may be provided as needed, for inserting pivotal horizontal beams for any blocking device. Optional methods of rotational mounting of the pivot post also exist. Telescoping beams may be built in different shapes; original cross sections were rectangular; as the present working unit has a smaller tapered waist cross section appearance; location of adjusting slots is optional. The expandable vertical picket blocking devices may also be composed of round or square vertical tubes or rods; various methods of mounting the first end and the second end of the stretch blocking assembly exist, including hook devices, and are thereby covered by this patent application. Also flat or round Bungee Cords or stretch devices may be used and located to fit the desired structural application.
