Abstract

La invención es concerniente con un dispositivo de inyección para inyectar un medicamento líquido. El dispositivo de inyección comprende un conjunto de alojamiento que soporta un cartucho no removible que tiene una cámara interior que contiene el medicamento líquido a ser inyectado y una cánula de aguja reusable conectada al cartucho. Se provee además un conjunto de protección de aguja que tiene una cámara limpiadora que contiene un volumen de un agente limpiador para limpiar por lo menos la punta distal de la cánula de aguja entre inyecciones subsecuentes. El conjunto de protección de aguja es movible axialmente en una dirección proximal en relación con el conjunto de alojamiento desde una primera posición a una segunda posición, tras la rotación de por lo menos una parte del conjunto de protección de aguja, en donde la primera posición es una posición en la cual la punta distal de la cánula de aguja es colocada al interior de la cámara limpiadora, limpiando mediante esto la punta distal de la cánula de aguja y la segunda posición es una posición en la cual la punta distal de la cánula de aguja es colocada fuera y distal de la cámara limpiadora para igualar la presión en el cartucho.
