Abstract
Un sistema de diagnóstico del sensor de hidrocarburos incluye una computadora programada para recopilar datos desde un sensor de hidrocarburos mientras que el sistema de recirculación de gases se encuentra en un estado abierto. El sensor de hidrocarburos se instala a lo largo de una entrada de aire del motor entre un conducto de escape del sistema de recirculación del gas de escape y un conducto de entrada de una culata del cilindro. La computadora se programa además para determinar si existe una falla en el sensor de hidrocarburos de acuerdo al menos con los datos recopilados.
