Abstract
Un tanque para un interruptor tiene un cuerpo que define un volumen interior y tiene extremos que se oponen. Está una pestaña en cada extremo del cuerpo con las pestañas definiendo un eje longitudinal central del cuerpo. La porción inferior se separa del eje longitudinal central como se define por al menos un segundo radio del eje longitudinal central. El segundo radio es mayor que el primer radio para reducir una intensidad de campo eléctrico en la porción inferior del cuerpo y de esta manera reducir los efectos de las partículas extrañas dentro del volumen interior, independientemente de la rotación de fases.
