Abstract
Se provee un método para controlar el acceso al medio inalámbrico compartido en un primer sistema de comunicación inalámbrica basado en un protocolo basado en contención para acceso al medio que implica detección de portadora, en donde el primer sistema de comunicación inalámbrica es de una primera tecnología de acceso de radio. El método comprende determinar (S1) si un segundo sistema de comunicación inalámbrica de una segunda tecnología de acceso de radio diferente está operando en el mismo canal del medio inalámbrico compartido que el primer sistema de comunicación inalámbrica. El método también comprende iniciar (S2), si el segundo sistema de comunicación inalámbrica está operando en el mismo canal, un cambio de un umbral de detección de portadora usado en el primer sistema de comunicación inalámbrica para determinar, para al menos una unidad de comunicación, si el medio está disponible para acceder de un primer nivel a un segundo nivel diferente.
