Abstract

Today, furnaces of various industries are fueled by fuel oil and petroleum coke with high calorific value; the costs are higher compared to the use of solid fuel based on hazardous waste and organic and inorganic special handling waste. Since it is made up of hazardous waste, coke coal fragments and powders, organic and inorganic special handling waste. In addition to reducing production costs, this fuel also favors environmentally, since it co-processes organic and inorganic waste that is abundantly generated in the region. In addition, this solid fuel based on hazardous waste and organic and inorganic special handling waste decreases the amounts of CO2 released helping to avoid global warming. This fuel takes advantage of the calorific value of its components, obtaining the homogeneous temperature inside the furnaces of various industries, allowing the reduction and replacement of the use of fossil fuels and a reduction of global emissions.
