Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing dimensionally stable electrodes (anodes) (DSA) using titanium meshes as a substrate and subsequently organic precursors of tin, iridium, and antimony to obtain ternary electrodes. Said electrodes are coated with the mixture of SnO2, IrO2 oxides, and Sb2O3, resulting in a film with high mechanical strength and a good efficiency in degradation of tartrazine dye in aqueous medium, as well as for the oxidation of Dibenzothiophene sulfone (DBT) to Dibenzothiophene sulfoxide (DBTO) in acetonitrile/water under pressure and atmospheric temperature. Further, is useful for wastewater treatment.
