Abstract
Un método y dispositivo para monitorear y transmitir datos de programación de enlace descendente; el método comprende: activar un temporizador; y al momento de determinar un tiempo fuera del temporizador, monitorear, empleando un primer ciclo de monitoreo de recepción discontinua (DRX), datos de programación de enlace descendente transmitidos por una estación base, en donde una duración de tiempo del primer ciclo de monitoreo DRX es en unidades de minutos u horas, y después que se determina el tiempo fuera del temporizador, los datos de programación de enlace descendente son monitoreados por el primer ciclo de monitoreo DRX que tiene la duración de tiempo en unidades de minutos u horas, reduciendo así el consumo de energía, y permitiendo el monitoreo de los datos de programación de enlace descendente.
