Abstract

The present disclosure is related to a manufacturing process of gel or quasi-solid electrolytes, consisting of a conductive iodine hydrogel-redox couple. Particularly, the present invention relates to a chemical process for producing hydrogels with a conductive polymer and the absorption of an aqueous solution of par-redox based on iodine, and then its evaluation in a cell sensitized by colorants. Among the possible applications of this electrolyte, are: solar cells sensitized by colorant, capacitors, batteries, among others.
