Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con formulaciones cosméticas con una alta capacidad humectante que comprende, como principio activo, manteca de ucuuba (Virola surinamensis) que comprende ácido mirístico en concentración alta, más particularmente en una concentración igual a o mayor de 70% de la constitución de la manteca. Adicionalmente, la invención se relaciona con productos que comprenden estas formulaciones cosméticas así como con el uso de manteca de ucuuba para la preparación de un producto cosmético diferenciado con una alta capacidad humectante de la piel, como se demostrará en la presente solicitud de patente. La invención describe además un kit cosmético que comprende la formulación descrita con un aplicador adecuado e instrucciones para usarse.
