Abstract

Se proporciona un método para formar un recipiente de almacenamiento de gas subterráneo. Se perfora un pozo a través de la superficie del suelo y hacia el interior de la tierra y se inserta una tubería de revestimiento dentro del pozo, en la que la tubería de revestimiento tiene un tamaño adecuado para que se forme un espacio anular del pozo entre la superficie exterior de la tubería de revestimiento y la pared del pozo. Luego se forma un recubrimiento de cemento en el espacio anular y se sella el interior de la tubería de revestimiento para ayudar a prevenir el escape inadvertido de gas de este. La tubería de revestimiento sellada y cementada luego se puede usar como recipiente de almacenamiento para almacenar y suministrar gas como gas natural comprimido (GNC).
