Abstract
Se describen en la presente un método y aparato para mediciones de canal y mecanismos de reporte para un funcionamiento de evolución a largo plazo (LTE - Long Term Evolution) en una banda no autorizada en una unidad de transmisión/recepción inalámbrica (WTRU - wireless transmit/receive unit). El método consiste en que la WTRU puede estar en comunicación con una celda primaria que funciona en una banda autorizada y una celda secundaria que funciona en una banda no autorizada. La WTRU puede recibir una solicitud en una señal de Información de Control de Enlace Descendente (DCI - Downlink Control Information) para la medición y el reporte, en donde la solicitud puede indicar al menos un recurso de tiempo/frecuencia en al menos una subtrama para realizar una medición en una banda no autorizada. La WTRU puede realizar después la medición de acuerdo con la solicitud, y enviar un reporte de medición con base en la medición realizada. En un ejemplo, dicho al menos un recurso de tiempo/frecuencia indicado puede ser un conjunto de bloques de recursos físicos (PRBs - physical resource blocks) o elementos de recursos (REs - resource elements).
