Abstract
Un aparato disyuntor / seccionador para su uso en un sistema de suministro de energía que comprende un disyuntor de circuito unidireccional de corriente continua que presenta un primer terminal y un segundo terminal y se encuentra configurado para que se abra automáticamente durante una condición de sobrecorriente en una dirección hacia adelante y para permanecer cerrado independientemente del nivel de corriente en un sentido inverso. Un interruptor seccionador se encuentra en serie con el disyuntor. El interruptor seccionador presenta un primer terminal para conectar a un primer conector de polaridad de una fuente de alimentación, un segundo terminal para conectar a un segundo conector de polaridad de la fuente de alimentación y un terminal común conectado al primer terminal del disyuntor. El interruptor seccionador presenta al menos una primera posición en la que el primer terminal se encuentra conectado al terminal común y una segunda posición en la que el segundo terminal se encuentra conectado al terminal común. El segundo conector de polaridad de la fuente de alimentación se puede acoplar a un riel de un sistema de transporte y el segundo conector de polaridad de la fuente de alimentación se puede acoplar a un cable aéreo vivo o a un tercer riel vivo de un sistema de transporte. El aparato se puede utilizar para conectar a tierra de forma segura el cable vivo o el tercer riel cuando se encuentra en una condición de mantenimiento.
