Abstract

Se describen métodos para el uso de composiciones de cemento con vida útil prolongada. Un método comprende proveer una composición de cemento con vida útil prolongada que comprende cemento de aluminato de calcio, agua y un retardante de fraguado de cemento. Adicionalmente, el método comprende mezclar la composición de cemento con vida útil prolongada con un activador de fraguado de cemento para activar la composición de cemento con vida útil prolongada. El método comprende además introducir la composición de cemento con vida útil prolongada activada en una formación subterránea y dejar que la composición de cemento con vida útil prolongada fragüe en la formación subterránea, en la que la composición de cemento con vida útil prolongada activada tiene un tiempo de espesamiento de más de alrededor de dos horas.
